Geography

Geography is the study of the physical features and processes that make up the earth and the processes that affect the earth's atmosphere. It focuses on human cultures and the interaction between humans and the environment. It is a spatial science with an emphasis on how distributions and patterns affect phenomena.

Geography at Clovis Community College

The Clovis Community College Geography department is quickly growing. We are in the processes of adding classes to build an Associate of Arts Transfer degree in Geography. The instructors have strong academic and professional experience in the field, and they are dedicated to helping students succeed.

Why Study Geography?

Geography is an exciting subject which teaches students about the physical environment and human interaction with the environment. There are many great careers available to geography majors.
