Associate in Science Degree in Biological Science: Life Science 2017-2018

(Major #C.6102.AS)

The students will be able to identify the phyla/ classes of organisms, their structures, and physiology. The students will know the human body macroscopically to the organ-system level and the microscopic/ histological level. The students will have the hands on experience and be able to work with the equipment in a health setting such as an EKG machine, otoscope, microscope, spectrophometer, autoclave, etc. The students will have a basic understanding of aseptic transfer, microbiological techniques, and pathogenicity.
