Student Guidelines for Returning to Campus

Students, you are required to upload your COVID vaccination card before you can be cleared to be on campus.

If you need help uploading/updating your vaccine information, contact the Welcome Center at 559-325-5421 or cccwelcomecenter@cloviscollege.edu.

Self-monitoring for COVID-19 symptoms must be performed daily before coming to campus. Symptoms include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, a new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Students, you must stay home and notify your instructor and the Health Services Office if:

  • You or your household members are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
  • You or your household members have tested positive for COVID-19, or
  • You have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

For on-campus safety:

  • High-quality and good-fitting facemasks such as N-95 or KN-95 masks continue to offer good protection for the wearer and therefore their use is still highly recommended in public settings. However, as of March 21, they will no longer be mandated.
  • Face coverings are still required in healthcare service areas.
  • Maintaining a minimum of 3 feet of social distancing at all times while on campus and 6 feet of social distancing whenever possible is recommended.
  • Contact campus Health Services to request information on exemptions from the mandate/requirements if you are unable to get the COVID vaccination and/or follow COVID safety requirements due to medical or other conditions.
