Check the revised delivery type to determine if the course was originally scheduled to meet face to face. Courses coded blue will be reported as resident courses and those coded orange will be reported as online courses to the VA. Veterans Education Benefits

Chapter 30 (Active Duty) New Applicant: If you served on ACTIVE DUTY, for purposes other than training AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED Veterans Education Benefits.

Chapter 30 (Active Duty) Previous Applicant If you served on ACTIVE DUTY, for purposes other than training AND HAVE previously RECEIVED Veterans Education Benefits.

Forms to Complete:

  • DD-214 Member 4
  • Transcripts from all other institutions attended
  • Chapter 31 -Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment (VR&E)

The 1905 is for Ch. 31 Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) recipients. This form is sent directly to Clovis Community College from the VR&E Case Managers. We use this form to certify enrollment and return it to the Case Manager. The 1905 specifies the term to certify, the students approved major, and what VR&E will pay for as far as book and supplies. You will notice that chapter 31 applicants only need to submit their DD-214, Education History Form, and Military Transcript Request. They must also submit transcripts from all prior colleges attended, as do all other chapters (Amber Fowler June 17, 2009)
