Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park

To celebrate black history month, we are offering a field trip to this state park, formerly a small town, founded in 1908 by an escaped slave.

A Century of Black History Commemoration

Participants will engage in active learning experiences that highlight the cultural wealth of the Central Valley and provide an understanding of our local historical context.
