About the Program
Next summer, join faculty and fellow students for a 3-week program in Athens, Greece (May 27 – June 18, 2026). Students will live in the heart of the city, take courses with SCCCD faculty, and experience Greek history and culture firsthand.
Highlights include
- Guided visits to the Acropolis, Agora, Kerameikos Cemetery, and Temple of Olympian Zeus
- Excursions to Mycenae, Epidaurus, and the Corinth Canal
- A Greek market walk and cooking class
- Museum visits such as the National Archaeological Museum and the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Technology
- Free time to explore Athens, with options like a Three-Island Day Cruise
