Professional Development Funding Requests

Faculty seeking funding for discipline-specific conferences can apply for funding through the Professional Development Ad Hoc. Here are the steps for applying for funding:

  1. Before applying for funding, please contact your dean. All travel and dates must be approved by your dean.
  2. Complete the Professional Development Ad Hoc form.
  3. Once this form is complete and approved by the Professional Development Ad Hoc, faculty will still need to submit a Travel and Conference Request and other required documentation to their dean. You should receive a budget number to add to the travel and conference form when you get approval.
  4. Conference funding is limited, so applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
