Join us to raise awareness about domestic violence. Guest speakers will be discussing domestic violence, red flags, resources, preventative measures, and more.

Fresno Police Department, Domestic Violence Unit

Detective Maria Flores and Detective Michelle Vanzant will give a presentation of the cycle of abuse, power and control, and community resources.

Fresno County Probation Victim/ Witness Advocates

Guest speakers Anneli Rios and Brandi Razo will give a presentation on general domestic violence information, such as victim demographics, safety planning, warning signs, and the services available.

Wednesday, October 8

Beloved Survivors Trauma Recovery Center

The guest speaker is Tina Rodriguez, the Executive Director for Beloved Survivors Trauma Recovery Center in Fresno.

Tina’s work has been published in the California Health Report, the HuffPost, and various articles. She is a fierce advocate in Sacramento for budgets that support services for victims. Her leadership has helped to expand policies that prioritize the rights of crime victims in California.
