Scholarship recipients shared genuine stories of gratitude at the annual ceremony on September 13. Tears were shed as they spoke about the challenges they had to overcome in order to start or return to college and pursue their educational goals. Many recipients were veterans, single parents, and re-entry students. In total, 114 scholarships were presented totaling $71,500 for the 2019 - 2020 academic year.
