On Friday, May 6, a community of scientists, researchers, instructors, and proud parents came together at the 1st Annual Clovis Community College Research Symposium which was held inside the lobby of AC1.
Which allowed students to present their posters and discuss them with fellow students. Victor Corces, Ph.D., Professor of Human Genetics at the Emory University School of Medicine was the keynote speaker. Evan Hai, Ph.D., Senior Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals also was a featured speaker. This event provided students with a great opportunity to showcase their research and network with scientists. Funding was generously provided in part by the Title V poder grant.
