Cayleigh Sitchon selected to attend Allstate National Youth Service Summit

CCC STEM Student Selected from Amongst 1,200 Students to Attend Prestigious Youth Summit

Oct 24, 2025

Cayleigh Sitchon, a CCC STEM student and inspiring youth leader, is one of only sixty-five students across the country selected to attend the prestigious Allstate Foundation National Youth Service Summit

Cayleigh is a researcher and STEM outreach leader and also serves as the president of the Valley Health and Science Club. She leads students in creating interactive STEM activities for elementary schools and is developing Science-at-Home Kits for underserved families. An advocate for community non-profits, she fundraises for the Fresno Discovery Center to expand access to community science education. As a Common Good AI Ambassador and former nonprofit director, Cayleigh champions science for all and educational empowerment.

This is a significant achievement, as Cayleigh was selected from a highly competitive pool of nearly 1,200 applicants across the nation. These applicants represent the very best of young leaders in the United States who are at the forefront of driving positive change in their communities. The rigorous selection process was designed to identify those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and impact in their service work. Being one of only 65 students chosen for this honor is a testament to Cayleigh’s remarkable contributions and potential to continue making a meaningful difference.

The Allstate Foundation National Youth Service Summit is a cornerstone of the Foundation’s national strategy to transform how we engage, equip, and prepare young people to participate in service. This Summit will bring together youth changemakers aged 18-22 for a weekend of learning, networking, and collaboration. Attendees will leave this experience more connected, committed, confident, and empowered to continue and enhance their service work within their communities.

Please join us in congratulating Cayleigh on this outstanding achievement! What an amazing accomplishment.

The Allstate Foundation National Youth Service Summit is hosted by the Center for Expanding Leadership and Opportunity, with funding provided by The Allstate Foundation as part of a partnership to (re)define youth service for a new generation and empower youth to serve and improve communities.
