Level II fieldwork requires the completion of two eight-week, full-time (40 hours per week) rotations. Students must be prepared to attend clinical fieldwork activities during weekday and daytime hours; Part-time, evening, and/or weekend fieldwork options are not available.

Yes, Clovis Community College will evaluate all courses completed outside of State Center Community College District. Official transcripts must be submitted to with the college application for equivalency. We suggest that you meet with our counselor to discuss your individual situation.
While all efforts are made to place students in geographically convenient areas, students need to be prepared to travel long distances (up to 2 ½ hours/200 miles) to complete their fieldwork experiences in some settings.

The OTA program includes 43 units completed in a continuous 16-month sequence; 3 full semesters and 1 summer session. The program is rigorous and intense and requires dedication to prioritize your studying and learning so you can be prepared to sit for and pass the national Certification Exam for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
