Why study Elementary Education at CCC

Teachers have the superpowers of changing lives, strengthening communities, and inspiring students to reach their greatest potential. What other profession could be more important? If you are ready to begin your journey to become an elementary school teacher, we would be honored to have you join our program.

This program is dedicated to preparing our students to become elementary school teachers (grades TK-6) and earning a Multiple Subject Credential. Our coursework includes valuable fieldwork opportunities to gain hands-on classroom experience and insight into the teaching profession. Through partnerships with our local universities, you will have multiple transfer and credential program options to consider. You will learn from education faculty who are credentialed TK-12 teachers, who are passionate about creating opportunities for all students to succeed, and who will provide you with current and relevant learning experiences.

Our Philosophy

We are here to serve all students pursuing the dream of becoming a credentialed teacher. We are committed to supporting you both during your time in our program and while transferring to a university to complete your degree and teaching credential. Just like our school’s mission, this program truly embodies the belief in “Creating Opportunities One Student at a Time” and will provide you with a variety of student support to help you reach your goal of becoming a teacher.
