About the Event
Each year in March, the third Wednesday of the month is designated as “National SBDC Day.” In recognition of this, and to honor the many achievements of our network of small business clients and stakeholders, Valley Community Small Business Development Center is launching the first annual National SBDC Day Luncheon! This event will showcase the many accomplishments achieved by entrepreneurs and small business owners we have served in 2022, provide an informative keynote speaker (TBA) and recognize the outstanding achievements of some of our wonderful SBDC clients and partners.
Your Impact
Small businesses are an important driver of economic development, individual opportunity, and overall quality of life. By partnering with Valley Community SBDC, you are helping to make an impact in the growth, development, and overall success of entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout Fresno, Madera, Kings, and Tulare counties. Working with the support from partners like you, our 2022 Economic Impact (to date) includes:
- Over 3,600 hours of one-on-one counseling were provided to 1,029 unique small businesses.
- 49 new businesses were created.
- Over 3,300 jobs were supported.
- Total capital infusion (loans and grants awarded to clients) is over $22 million.
- 40 training events were conducted for a total of 1,700 participants.
- 125 jobs were created.
- over $9 million in sales increases were reported.
- Over $25 million in government contract awards.
