Helpful Information for the first week and Spring Semester

Welcome to Clovis Community College

Please see below to help you start the Spring Semester.

  1. COVID-19 VACCINEMandatory Vaccine Mandate information: Includes how to upload your vaccine card, mandated testing information for students with a religious or medical exemption, and how to check-in the Point And Click system to enter campus buildings.

    • Please arrive early as it may take an extra few minutes to check-in the COVID monitoring stations at the entrance for each building.
    • Please note that there is only ONE entrance to AC1 and AC2: Only use the AC1 entrance near the Welcome Center/Forum Hall/Across from the Soccer field. Only use the AC2/Library entrance near the Counseling offices.
  2. Parking is free for the Spring semester. However, please do not park in the stalls marked “Staff” on the asphalt or you may be ticketed.

  3. Welcome CenterTips for a successful first week: Check your student schedule.

    • Login to Webadvisor through MyPortal. It will show your official student schedule. If you do not see your class in Canvas, the instructor may not have “published” the class yet.
    • On a waitlist?
    • Continue to check your student email. You can also email the instructor directly. If you are given authorization or an “add code,” make sure to officially add the class to your Webadvisor account.
    • Check your Student Email
    • Check your SCCCD student email account regularly for important information
  4. One shuttle offers service to Clovis Community College from the Herndon Campus and River Park.

  5. NEW: The City of Fresno FAX Route #3 now offers service to Clovis Community College. The bus stop is located on International across the street from the high school.

  6. Welcome CenterWelcome Week Assistance: Please reach out in person or virtually for any questions you have. Our ambassadors are here to help you.

    • On Campus Booth

      • Monday, January 10 - Wednesday, January 12 | 7:30am-7pm Booth at AC1, AC2, and Herndon Campus

      • Join us for questions about your class schedule, help finding a classroom and much more.

      • We will also have extra masks and hand sanitizers available for students.

    • Zoom Booth

      • Monday, January 10 - Thursday, January 13 | 8am-6pm Join us for any questions about Clovis Community College.

  7. Technology Checkout Program. For the Spring Semester students enrolled in CCC classes, they can check out a laptop, webcam, personal hotspot, calculator, and headphones through the library. This is a free service

  9. Please follow us on Social Media to stay up-to-date on news and deadlines.

  10. Career Corner Register your campus job board account on College Central Network to search for internships, entry-level opportunities, and more. The Career Resource Center will have their first virtual workshop on Wednesday, January 19th; where they will give a breakdown on the center and upcoming spring events.
