Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month

This September, we proudly celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month under the theme "Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future." Join Student Activities as we recognize the vibrant culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic community through a series of engaging events and activities. Don’t miss our kickoff celebration on September 15, featuring an inspiring appearance by renowned labor leader and activist, Dolores Huerta.

This year marks a historic milestone for Crush Athletics, our 10th anniversary! As we prepare to embark on this special journey together, it is important that we embrace the traditions of the past decade, while also creating new experiences that will forever become part of the fabric of our college and help to better connect us to our local communities. That said, it is time to find a befitting name for our mascot! While we will always be known as the Crush – a perfect embodiment of the fighting spirit of our hardworking and resilient campus community – we are seeking a moniker for our 6’6”, gray, blue-horned friend that is a regular fixture at our college and community events.

Next summer, join faculty and fellow students for a 3-week program in Athens, Greece (May 27 – June 18, 2026). Students will live in the heart of the city, take courses with SCCCD faculty, and experience Greek history and culture firsthand.

Due Process vs. Deportation

Thursday, Sept. 18, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Clovis Law Society will be hosting Constitution Day on September 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We will have a guest speaker coming from the ACLU to discuss the constitutionality of various events in today's day and age. We will be providing catering for the event.
